| Şubat 2018

Question 1: What was the most disappointing experience of your student
life?

I don’t recall a very disappointing experience. It was usually fun; at
least after the submission of projects! Particularly socializing at
night in the studios while creating projects was a good memory I have of
student days.

Question 2: As an academician, do you get the chance to sleep? (Does
anything change?)

Things change… a little bit. I have at least developed the ability to
organize my time a little bit better. So when I sleep on time, I always
wake up at about 3.00 o’clock at night and try to finish up my left-over
projects!

Question 3: What does design mean to you and currently, how
do you perceive the world of design?

I am currently involved with design as a creative process and the
factors that inspire and generate successful design projects. In that
respect, I am interested in reading and studying the process of
successful designers and how both objective knowledge and subjective
experience impact their working methods.

Question 4: If you had the chance, what would you change in your student
life?

I would attend more social events; lectures, workshops, film screenings,
parties around the campus. In later years, you rarely have a chance to
be immersed in such a vibrant community with diverse events and
activities which broaden your perspective and deepen your friendships.
